KES attends WPAC conference
The Wood Pellet Association of Canada conference & AGM kicks off this Tuesday 22nd September. Due to COVID-19 this year’s conference will be held as an online event. The theme for this year is Responsible, Renewable Clean Energy for a Cooler Planet.
Biofuels Development Manager Ken Hepburn and Business Development Manager Nathan Hughes will be in attendance from 16:00pm until 19:30pm. Ken and Nathan will be able to answer any questions and and provide information on the range of inspection, sampling and testing services that KES offer around wood pellets and other biomass materials.
The live conference will take place over three hours on 22nd September, followed by the AGM on 23rd Septembr, which is open to all WPAC members. The event will close out with a board meeting for one and a half hours on 24th September.
Topics covered over the three days will include the global and domestic pellet markets, recommendations for policy changes to improve wood pellet consumption and discussions on making the industry safer with critical control management.
